Shahram Bozorgnia is an Associate Professor at the Medical College of Georgia, affiliated with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He holds an MD from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (1995) and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) and the GA Composite Medical Board (2009).
- Teaching Interests: Musculoskeletal Oncology, Orthopaedic Traumatology, Joint Replacements and Reconstructions
- Research Interests: Musculoskeletal Oncology, Orthopaedic Traumatology, Quality of Life of Veterans, Veterans with Chronic Spinal Cord Injuries, Biomechanics of Fixation Devices
He has received the Floyd Bliven Faculty Award in 2013 and teaches courses such as Orthopedics (RSUR 5003), Basic Surgery Clerkship (SURG 5000), Orthopedics Externship (SURG 5275), and Surgery Sub-I in Orthopedic Surgery (SURG 5007).
