Shafiqul Islam

Shafiqul Islam is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden. His research focuses on simulation-driven product development, material characterization, and finite element modeling of cracks in packaging materials and sheet metal forming processes. He has served as a Research Project Manager for initiatives like CiSMA (Circular Steel for Mass-Market Applications) and completed projects including PREDICT and MD3S+.
