Prof. Dr. Shadi Albarqouni leads the Computational Medical Imaging Research group at University of Bonn and Helmholtz AI, developing privacy-preserving AI systems for medical imaging. His research advances federated learning frameworks for multi-institutional collaboration while preserving data privacy.
