Sevan Suni is an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of San Francisco, investigating how environmental change influences evolutionary trajectories and conservation status of populations. Her research focuses on drought/deforestation impacts on plant-pollinator interactions and enhancing positive feedback between natural and human-dominated areas. She holds a PhD in Biology from Stanford University and a BA from Colorado College.
Research examines genetic and ecological responses to environmental stressors across diverse systems, including bees in fragmented landscapes, floral trait adaptation to water limitation, urbanization effects on pollination networks, and climate-associated morphological shifts. Her work integrates landscape genetics, behavioral ecology, and conservation biology.
