Seth Asare Okyere is a Visiting Lecturer in Urban Studies at the University of Pittsburgh’s Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. His work bridges urban, environmental, and international development planning to address social equity, resilience, and sustainability. Previously, he served as an Associate Professor at Osaka University (Japan) and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona (USA). He specializes in community-based approaches to enhance equity-centered resilience against socio-environmental stressors, emphasizing marginalized urban populations and Southern perspectives.
