Serpil Fatma ERTÜRK

Serpil Fatma ERTÜRK is a Researcher at the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Antalya Bilim University, since 2016. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Building Research and Planning at Yıldız Technical University, commenced in 2017.

Her research focuses on Sustainability, Physical Environment Control, Lighting Design, and Retrofitting and Refurbishment of Existing Buildings. Her work integrates environmental design principles with technical solutions for energy efficiency and occupant well-being.

She has gained professional experience in architectural design and consultancy in Istanbul, including roles as Chief of Fine Works in large-scale construction projects. Her academic and professional journey includes internships at Peinelt & Partners Arkitekten and Kappel Gründstück offices in Germany through the Erasmus program.
