Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Usgu is a full-time academic at Hasan Kalyoncu University, serving in the Faculty of Health Sciences and holding the position of Vice Dean. With a career spanning over two decades, he combines clinical expertise in physiotherapy with academic leadership through research and education.

Dr. Usgu’s research explores the biomechanical properties of muscles and tendons, with a focus on viscoelastic properties, exercise interventions, and rehabilitation technologies. His work spans diverse populations including athletes, pediatric patients, and individuals with chronic conditions like multiple sclerosis and hemophilia.
His recent publications analyze:
