Serhan Bastürk

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Serhan Bastürk is a Professor of Sustainable Production at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. His research focuses on production technologies with environmental and resource conservation, sustainable surface/ printing technologies, innovative materials for circular economy, renewable energy economics, and e-mobility. He leads projects on coating adhesion, tribology, and dry forming processes. His work integrates advanced materials science with sustainable manufacturing practices.

Key research contributions include HPPMS-coatings for hard-to-machine materials, automated indentation testing for coating evaluation, and tribological studies for dry metal forming.
