Sergey Arkadyevich Lebedev

Sergey Arkadyevich Lebedev is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Software Engineering at the Faculty of Computer Science, National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE). He joined HSE in 2021, bringing 29 years of scientific and teaching experience to his role. His responsibilities include organizing departmental activities, coordinating structural divisions, and developing practice-oriented educational programs using e-learning and distance learning technologies.

Dr. Lebedev holds a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree (1999) specializing in Mathematical Methods in Economics, with his dissertation focusing on simulation modeling of investment project efficiency. He earned his specialist degree in Economic Cybernetics from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in 1994, with the qualification 'Economist-Mathematician.'

His research spans Society Informatization, Software Engineering, Automated Management Systems, Operations Research, and Adult Education. Recent publications demonstrate his focus on game development education, AI applications, and digital transformation, with notable works on narrative game design methods for educational improvement and analysis of AI in transportation design. His research consistently bridges theoretical knowledge with practical industry applications.
