Ms Serena Rofail is an academic at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Queensland. She holds the rank of Lecturer and is actively engaged in research and teaching within the pharmacy domain.
Research Interests focus on medication safety, deprescribing practices, and clinical pharmacology. Her work spans health services research, including studies on drug safety, patient adherence, and policy impacts in pharmacy practice.
Publications include analyses of SGLT-2 inhibitors in diabetes care (2023), multidisciplinary approaches to deprescribing in elderly populations (2016), and pharmacoepidemiological studies on NSAID availability (2004). These contributions highlight her expertise in cardiovascular and geriatric pharmacology, as well as medication policy evaluation.
