Serap Uğur is an Assistant Professor at the Education Faculty of Anadolu University, Turkey. Previously, she worked in the Distance Education Department of the university's Open Education Faculty from 2002-2023. Her academic background includes an undergraduate and master's degree in "Computer Education and Instructional Technology" from Anadolu University, followed by a doctorate in Distance Learning.
