معرفی
Dr. Senjuti Halder is a Research Fellow in the School of Chemistry at the University of St Andrews. Her research focuses on synthetic chemistry, molecular self-assembly, and the development of fluorescent sensors for anions, biomolecules, and environmental contaminants. She specializes in designing functional materials such as aggregation-induced emission (AIE) luminogens and bis-urea-based receptors, with applications in biomedical and environmental detection systems.
Her work includes studies on the aggregation behavior of small molecules, solvent-tunable properties, and interactions with biological systems like human serum albumin. She has explored biomineralization processes directed by whey proteins and developed novel sensors for hypochlorite, hydrazine, and sulfite using cyanine and Schiff base chemistries. Dr. Halder’s research also involves crystallographic analysis of water clusters and halide encapsulation within molecular frameworks.
Her publications span from 2018 to 2024, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches at the interface of chemistry, materials science, and analytical techniques. She contributes to advancing sensing technologies and understanding fundamental molecular interactions in aqueous and physiological conditions.
