معرفی
Dr. Selcan GÜLER is a Lecturer in the Genetic and Bioengineering Department at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University's Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. With a PhD in Bioengineering (2023) and MSc in Bioengineering (2016) from Hacettepe University, she specializes in biomaterials and tissue engineering.
- PhD (Bioengineering), Hacettepe University (2016-2023)
- MSc (Bioengineering), Hacettepe University (2013-2016)
- BSc (Biology), Hacettepe University (2007-2012)
Her research focuses on biomaterials for tissue regeneration, particularly decellularized matrices and polymer scaffolds for bone, cartilage, and corneal applications. Recent work explores hybrid constructs combining synthetic polymers with biological matrices.
Publications demonstrate expertise in:
- Decellularization techniques (enhanced by DMSO and supercritical CO2)
- Anisotropic scaffold design for osteochondral repair
- Nanoparticle-hydrogel systems for stem cell chondrogenesis
- Mechanical stimulation of tenocytes via bioreactors
She has collaborated internationally with researchers from Trinity College Dublin, Keele University, and Hacettepe University, contributing to 11 joint publications. With 212 citations and h-index 8, her work spans 2011-2023.
