Seila Panizzolo is an LSE Fellow in Qualitative Methodology at the Department of Methodology, London School of Economics and Political Science. She holds affiliations with the Oxford Department of International Development and the Department of Politics and International Studies at SOAS, University of London. Previously, she served as a Departmental Lecturer in Global Governance at the University of Oxford and taught at SOAS and City, University of London.
Her research focuses on international organisations, organisational sociology, and spatial analysis of institutional decentralisation. Methodologically, she specialises in qualitative methods including document analysis, interviews, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques.
Her recent work examines humanitarian logistics in conflict zones and policy translation processes within UN agencies in the UAE. She explores mobility narratives of international staff and regionalisation dynamics at the United Nations.
