Prof. Seda Kızılel is a faculty member in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Koç University, Istanbul, where she has worked since 2008. She has supervised over 22 MS and 15 PhD students/postdocs, managed 23 projects, and attracted ~4 million Euros in grants from TÜBİTAK, the European Commission, and industry partners.
- Education: PhD (Biomedical Engineering, Illinois Institute of Technology 2004), MSc/BS (Chemical Engineering, Boğaziçi University 1998/1995)
Her research focuses on Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering, and Biomedical Applications, particularly in Regenerative Medicine. She has developed polymers and nanocomposites for biological and energy applications.
