معرفی
Sebastian Stock is a Researcher and PhD student in Materials Science at the Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria, collaborating with the Institute Laue Langevin in Grenoble, France. His work focuses on hydrogen storage in nanoporous materials, neutron scattering techniques, and sustainable materials derived from biomass waste. He is affiliated with the SyNergy_Mat Lab and the Department of Physics.
Education: PhD (2021–present), MSc (2018–2021), BSc (2014–2018) in Materials Science from Montanuniversität Leoben, preceded by technical college studies in metallurgy.
Research: Explores hydrogen adsorption in nanoporous carbons, carbon electrode design for supercapacitors, and CO2 storage in geological formations. Techniques include neutron/X-ray scattering (SANS/SAXS), gas sorption, and cyclic voltammetry.
Awards: Best Student Talk Award (2024) at the MRS Spring Meeting for work on in-situ neutron scattering of hydrogen physisorption in nanoporous carbons.
