Sebastián Ramallo Asensio is Professor at the University of Murcia's Faculty of Arts and Humanities, specializing in Mediterranean archaeology. His research examines urban transformations from Punic to Byzantine periods, particularly in Carthago Nova (modern Cartagena), using geoarchaeological methods and ceramic analysis.
