Sebastian Andres is Professor of Stochastics at TU Braunschweig's Institute of Mathematical Stochastics. His research focuses on random processes in disordered media, including homogenization of random walks, percolation theory, and heat kernel analysis. He holds a habilitation from University of Bonn and previously held positions at University of Cambridge and University of Manchester.
Research Themes: Quantitative homogenization, invariance principles for degenerate random walks, and applications to mathematical physics.
Teaching: Current courses include Probability Theory and Discrete Financial Mathematics; authored lecture notes on Martingale Theory for Finance.
