Sebastiaan Eeltink

Sebastiaan Eeltink is a Professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, affiliated with the Department of Chemical Engineering and Separations Science within the School of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry. His research focuses on advanced separation technologies, particularly liquid chromatography and its applications in pharmaceutical and biochemical analysis. He leads multiple high-impact projects, including 'Ordered self-assembly of submicron particles' and 'Next-gen vloeistofchromatografie - massaspectrometrie technologie.' Eeltink has been recognized with several awards, such as the 2023 HPLCtube Outreach Video Prize and multiple Best Poster Awards. He actively supervises PhD committees and contributes to academic conferences globally.

His research interests span chromatographic media development, microfluidics, and bioanalytical methods. Notable recent work includes advancements in 3D-printed HPLC media and high-resolution protein analysis.
