Sean Li

Sean Li is the Ruth G. and William K. Bowes Professor in Materials Science and Engineering at UNSW Sydney. His research advances high-performance materials for energy technologies, nanoscience, and biomedicine through fundamental studies of structure-property relationships.

Notable innovations include quantitative adhesion characterization methods (industry SIA Award 2010) and biomechanical frameworks for skin science (Maso Award 2011). He directs the Materials and Manufacturing Futures Institute and has licensed multiple technologies.
