Sean Freeman is a Professor of Nuclear Physics at the University of Manchester, specializing in experimental nuclear physics. His career includes roles as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Reader before his current position. He holds a B.A. from Balliol College Oxford and a Ph.D. from the Victoria University of Manchester. Freeman has conducted research at Yale University, the Niels Bohr Institute, and Argonne National Laboratory. He is Chair of the STFC Science Board and a Fellow of the Institute of Physics.
