Sean Daniels is a Senior Lecturer in Creative & Professional Writing at the University of the West of England's School of Arts. An award-winning screenwriter, he specializes in television drama and film production, with extensive experience as a head writer, script editor, and consultant. His academic qualifications include a BA in Mass Communication, a BA (Hons) in Screen Arts, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice in Pedagogy (PGCAPP).
Research Focus: Sean's creative practice explores narrative structures in crime drama, character development in long-format television, and cinematic storytelling techniques. His work bridges professional screenwriting practice with academic pedagogy in creative writing. Major thematic interests include societal commentary through genre frameworks and experimental narrative forms in international co-productions.
