Scott Leavengood is a Professor and Director of the Oregon Wood Innovation Center (OWIC) at Oregon State University's College of Forestry. With extensive experience in Wood Science and Engineering, he focuses on advancing forest sector competitiveness through technical assistance to manufacturers and entrepreneurship support.

- B.S. in Wood Science & Technology, Colorado State University
His research bridges wood technology, quality control, and innovative manufacturing practices, particularly for lesser-known wood species. Recent work explores modified wood composites, durability assessment, and Industry 4.0 implementation in wood products sectors.
