Scott Fine

Scott Fine is a Professor in the Department of Banking & Finance at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. With a professional background spanning strategic consulting, investment banking, private equity ownership, and executive leadership as a public company CFO, Fine's expertise centers on value creation through financial and corporate strategy. He has taught over a dozen courses since his appointment in 2003, including Cases in Finance, Corporate Finance, and Financial Strategy and Value Creation.

His research explores how value creation intersects with financial strategy, corporate governance, and the evolving influence of private equity and hedge fund investors on decision-making. He develops case studies and internal papers to address these questions.
