Scott Bingley

Dr. Scott Bingley is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at Victoria University's College of Arts, Business, Law, Education & IT, where he serves as Programme Director of SAP, Director of Victoria University's SAP Next-Gen Lab, and Director of VU's SAP Academic Competence Centre (APJ region). He also coordinates the Masters of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management and Masters of Business (ERP) programs.

Dr. Bingley holds a PhD (2012), Bachelor of Business (Honors) (2005), and Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Education (2017), all from Victoria University. His research focuses on Information Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Analytics, and Social Media Analysis, with particular expertise in SAP technologies and text analysis applications.

His publication record includes 35 peer-reviewed articles in Q1 journals such as Education and Training, International Journal of Information Management, and Journal of Electronic Commerce Research. His notable 2017 research analyzed Australian Twitter reactions to the US election using SAP HANA for text analysis, revealing 48.63% positive sentiment toward Trump compared to 44.65% negative.
