Scott Allred is a Lecturer in the Management Department at Utah State University's Huntsman School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management from the University of Utah (2008), an MBA from Utah State University (1997), and undergraduate degrees from Utah Valley University. Prior to academia, he worked as a management consultant for a Fortune 500 company, financial controller, and executive vice president.
His teaching portfolio includes courses in Critical Thinking for Managerial Decision Making, Organizational Behavior, Managerial Ethics, and specialized hospitality management courses including Hotel Operations and Revenue Management. Dr. Allred teaches at the Brigham City campus and emphasizes practical application of business concepts drawn from his industry experience.
