Scott A. Dilling is a Professor of Engineering Practice and Program Director for the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at the University of Akron, within the College of Engineering and Polymer Science. He is also the Owner and Engineering Consultant at Dilling Engineering Services since 2001, specializing in automotive and trucking industry design, including suspension components like beams, bushings, axles, and brakes. His expertise spans manufacturing processes such as welding, forging, casting, and molding.
