Dr. Savin Chand is an Associate Professor in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Federation University Australia’s Institute of Innovation, Science and Sustainability. He specializes in severe weather events, climate extremes, and tropical cyclones, with a focus on bridging data analysis and societal impacts. His research combines mathematical modeling, climate change impacts, and decision-support tools to address environmental challenges.
