Saurabh Bagchi is a Professor at Purdue University, affiliated with the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Computer Science. He serves as Director of the NSF CHORUS Center (2024-29), the Army A2I2 Institute (2020-25), and ECE Corporate Partnerships. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (2001) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Research Interests: His work spans dependable distributed systems, secure autonomy, embedded wireless networks, and predictable machine learning, with a focus on applying learning theory to systems. He leads a research group of 14 graduate and 4 undergraduate researchers, emphasizing practical system-building and security.
