Saul Traiger is a Professor of Cognitive Science and Philosophy at Occidental College (emeritus since 2021). He holds a B.A. from SUNY Binghamton and M.A./Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on the historical foundations of cognitive science, philosophy of mind, epistemology, and David Hume's philosophy. He co-founded Occidental's Cognitive Science program and served as past president of the Hume Society, currently co-editing Hume Studies. His work bridges philosophy and cognitive science, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches.
