Sattva S. Neelapu

Sattva S. Neelapu, M.D., is a Professor and Deputy Department Chair in the Department of Lymphoma/Myeloma within the Division of Cancer Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He also holds a graduate faculty position in the Immunology Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

His research focuses on developing innovative therapies for lymphoma and myeloma, with particular expertise in cellular immunotherapy and CAR T-cell treatments. Dr. Neelapu leads clinical trials investigating novel cancer immunotherapies and translational research bridging laboratory discoveries with patient care applications.

• Election as an AAAS Fellow for distinguished contributions to cancer immunotherapy

He maintains an active clinical practice focused on lymphoid malignancies and leads research initiatives at MD Anderson's Lymphoma & Myeloma Center.
