Saskia le Cessie serves as Professor of Statistical Methods in Observational (Clinical) Epidemiological Research at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), Faculty of Medicine, Leiden University. She concurrently holds a significant position as a member of the Dutch Health Council, providing critical scientific advice to national policymakers.
