Saskia Gribling is a Research Fellow at the Interuniversity Department of Territorial Sciences, Planning and Policies (DIST) at Politecnico di Torino. She also serves as an External Lecturer at the Department of Architecture and Design (DAD), contributing to courses such as Architecture, Society and Territory and Architectural Design Theory since the 2022/23 academic year.
Her research focuses on urban planning, oppositional practices, and the ecology of urban norms, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and territorial policies. Recent work examines speculative urbanization in cities like Ankara and the socio-political dynamics of dissent in Brussels.
