Dr. Sarah Torabi is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University of Arizona. She joined in August 2016 and served as Interim Assistant Director from October 2016 to December 2017. Her educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northern Arizona University (2015) and a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of Akron (2006).
Her clinical expertise spans Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, SICU, and OB anesthesia, with experience at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Grant Hospital, Tuba City Regional Health Care, Verde Valley Medical Center, and Hawaiian healthcare facilities. She currently chairs courses in Foundations of Anesthesia II, Co-Existing Diseases, and Advanced Principles of Anesthesia, while also serving as a Sim Lab instructor.
Dr. Torabi chairs multiple DNP-Nurse Anesthesia committees and serves on the UA Nurse Anesthesia Admission Committee, Advisory Council, and Native American Faculty Committee.
