Sarah S. Parker

Sarah S. Parker is a Lecturer of Nursing at the School of Nursing, University of Southern Maine, with clinical expertise in pediatric and adolescent health. She holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Boston College.

Her research focuses on adolescent behavioral health, sexual reproductive health, and motivational interviewing techniques. She has extensive clinical experience from Boston Children's Hospital, where she worked in inpatient care and the Adolescent Clinic, and served as Nurse Practitioner Fellow for the Leadership in Adolescent Health (LEAH) Fellowship Program in 2015.

Prior to USM, she taught as adjunct faculty at Northeastern University, specializing in pediatric didactics and clinical instruction. She has participated in research on adolescent substance use and reproductive health at Boston Children's Hospital as study counselor and nurse consultant.
