Sarah Redman

Sarah Redman is an Adjunct Professor of Art History at the School of Art and Design within the University of Northern Colorado's College of Performing and Visual Arts. She holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Art History and Philosophy from the University of Iowa and University of Northern Colorado respectively.

Education:

• M.A. in Art History from the University of Iowa
• B.A. in Art and Design from the University of Northern Colorado
• B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Northern Colorado

Her research focuses on ancient Roman art and Late Antiquity, with particular attention to Emperor Constantine's artistic commissions and their relationship to early Christianity. She explores the intersection of Roman imperial ideology and religious transformation during this period.

Sarah maintains active involvement in the local arts community through her studio rental at the Clay Center of Northern Colorado and previous ceramics training. She has also contributed to education through tutoring art history courses at UNC and teaching assistant roles at the University of Iowa.
