Sarah Parker Ward

Sarah Parker Ward is a Lecturer at the Lally School of Management, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Emerging Media Studies from Boston University and specializes in thanatological research focusing on motivational mechanisms for advance care planning and death meditation practices within public health frameworks.

Her research integrates practical training from the International End of Life Doula Association and UMass Amherst's Center for Mindfulness. With over a decade of digital marketing experience, she has consulted for major brands including Johnson & Johnson and Stonyfield Organic.
