Sarah Murray, Associate Professor at the University of Toronto, is a cultural historian and archaeologist specializing in early Greek material culture and institutions.
- Co-director of the Bays of East Attica Regional Survey Project
- Active in archaeological fieldwork in Greece and Italy

Her research focuses on the transition from the Late Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age Aegean, including social/economic developments, ritual practices, and the application of geospatial technologies like dGPS mapping and photogrammetry in archaeology.
She has published extensively on topics such as the LH IIIC cemetery of Perati (American Journal of Archaeology, 2018, 2020), women’s roles in ceramic production, and the historiography of the Greek Dark Ages (Hesperia, 2018).
