Sarah Moore

Sarah Moore is an Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University, with a focus on Play Therapy, Parent Training, and Multicultural Counseling. She has been a faculty member since July 2018, following extensive clinical experience in community mental health and higher education.

  • B.A. in Psychology, Appalachian State University

Her research integrates trauma-informed approaches and socioeconomic disparities into counseling practices, with a particular emphasis on child-centered play therapy and culturally-responsive parenting programs. Recent publications highlight innovations in CBT integration and supervision methodologies.
