Her research integrates public health surveillance, health disparities, and quality measurement to address gaps in preventive care for children with sickle cell disease. Key projects include the Michigan Sickle Cell Data Collection Program (MiSCDC), funded by the CDC, and AHRQ-supported work optimizing preventive services using machine learning and mixed methods.
Recent publications (2024–2023) emphasize telehealth utilization, Medicaid coverage, social vulnerability, and quality measure implementation for sickle cell disease. She is a steward of three NQF-endorsed quality measures for preventive care in this population.
Dr. Reeves collaborates with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and CDC. Her work bridges epidemiology, pediatrics, and health policy to reduce disparities and enhance clinical outcomes.
