Sarah Kocher is an Assistant Professor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University's Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics and an HHMI Freeman Hrabowski Scholar. Her research investigates the genetic and ecological basis of social behavior evolution using integrative approaches.
Research focuses on social polymorphism in bees, ecological influences on social transitions, neural basis of social behavior, and genomic signatures of eusociality. Her lab combines genomics, neurobiology, and field ecology methods.
Honors include:
- HHMI Freeman Hrabowski Scholars Program award
Dr. Kocher leads a research group studying social evolution and advises graduate students in evolutionary biology.
