Sarah Kirk serves as Provost and Dean of Faculty at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, having joined the institution in 2021. In this executive role, she oversees all academic programs and faculty affairs across the university.
As the chief academic officer, Kirk provides leadership for curriculum development, faculty recruitment and development, and academic policy implementation. Her position represents the highest academic authority at the institution, reporting directly to the college president.
Dr. Kirk maintains an office in Coxe Hall, the central administrative building on campus, where she manages the day-to-day operations of the academic enterprise and represents academic interests to the Board of Trustees and external stakeholders.
