Sarah King serves as an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), Department of English, and holds the key role of Coordinator for the UTSC Writing Centre where she provides critical writing support infrastructure for students.
Her academic foundation includes an undergraduate degree in International Studies obtained through studies at both York University and the University of Western Ontario, followed by advanced graduate work culminating in Master's and PhD degrees in English with specialization in Canadian literature, complemented by prior business sector experience.
Her research program critically examines:
- Institutional memory and bureaucratic history
- Autobiographical and biographical narrative forms
- Therapeutic and pedagogical applications of writing practices
