Her artistic research focuses on the reinterpretation of mundane architectural elements—such as switches, conduits, and ceiling structures—through highly detailed paper installations that challenge viewers to reevaluate the spaces they inhabit. Drawing is central to her practice, extending beyond traditional formats into three-dimensional, immersive environments.
Her work has been exhibited widely, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland, The Drawing Center (NY), Peabody Essex Museum (MA), and Tegnerforbundet (Norway). While she does not publish scientific articles, her artistic output functions as a form of visual research, exploring perception, space, and materiality.
Notable honors include the Cleveland Arts Prize (2017), a Knight Foundation Technology Grant (2021), and multiple Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Awards. She has also been awarded residencies at major arts centers across the United States.

She mentors emerging artists through her role as department chair and continues to be an active force in the regional and national art scene.
She currently co-leads public art projects in production for the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and maintains a studio practice that bridges drawing, sculpture, and installation. Her interdisciplinary approach fosters collaboration across design, architecture, and community engagement.
