Sarah Johnson is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Moravian University's School of Behavioral and Community Health. She holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology with a Neuroscience focus from Temple University and a B.A. from Bucknell University.

Her research investigates how executive processes in the frontal lobes regulate memory retrieval, particularly focusing on inhibitory mechanisms that impair recall of related information. She also examines the role of these processes in clinical memory disorders and contributes to neuroscience outreach through Brain Awareness Week coordination.
Dr. Johnson teaches courses in cognitive psychology, physiological psychology, memory disorders, and creativity. She advises the Psychology Club, co-founded the Game Club, and serves on Moravian's Human Subjects Institutional Review Board. Her notable work includes a 2004 publication in Psychological Science analyzing inhibitory control in semantic memory forgetting.
