Dr. Sarah Glew is a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the School of Psychology, University of Surrey. She specializes in neurodevelopment, neurodivergence, intellectual disabilities, and the role of clinical psychology in children and families. Her work also explores arts-in-health interventions for youth mental health. She teaches on the PsychD Children, Young People and Families Module and provides training to clinical psychology trainees on neurodivergence, parenting, and OCD/anxiety in children.
Her research focuses on systematic reviews of participatory arts programs, neurodivergence advocacy, and early intervention strategies for children with visual impairments. She has contributed to edited volumes on neurodivergence and published studies on group singing’s effects on child well-being.
Dr. Glew’s teaching spans undergraduate psychology and clinical psychology training, emphasizing evidence-based practices and developmental assessments like the WISC-V.
