Her teaching philosophy emphasizes speculation, deep thinking, and collaboration in scholarship, with attention to how writing can be a source of self-actualization and a tool for building and challenging communities. She approaches writing as both conditioned by social context and capable of upsetting social conventions, integrating these perspectives into her instruction across professional, academic, and literary writing contexts.
