Sarah Gaither is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University. Her research examines how social identities and experiences influence social perceptions and behaviors in diverse contexts.
Her work focuses on three primary areas: (1) the impact of intergroup contact on racial interactions, (2) behavioral effects of multiple social identities, and (3) contextual influences on cross-group perceptions. She investigates developmental origins of social identity to understand predictors of adult behavior in diverse environments.
