Sarah Elizabeth Carlson

Sarah Elizabeth Carlson is Associate Professor and Educational Psychology Program Director in the Department of Learning Sciences at Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development. She holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from University of Minnesota and specializes in reading comprehension assessment and cognitive science.

Research develops diagnostic tools like the Multiple-choice Online Causal Comprehension Assessment (MOCCA) and investigates cognitive processes in comprehension. Publications analyze think-aloud protocols of comprehenders and data-driven educational interventions.
