Sarah Dixon is an Assistant Professor of Music at The Master’s University, where she serves as Director of Vocal Studies. She teaches courses such as Individual Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, Performance Practicum, and Recital classes.
- Education: B.M. in Vocal Performance and Music Education from The Master’s University; M.M. in Vocal Arts from California State University, Northridge.
Her research and professional focus centers on vocal education and performance, including co-founding the "Songs of Summer" music camp for young singers. She has adjudicated at events like the Santa Clarita Choral Educators Association Scholarship Auditions and NATS SEP auditions.
Prof. Dixon is an active performer with global experience, including concerts in Israel, Spain, Italy, France, and Russia, as well as solo performances at Carnegie Hall. Her repertoire spans classical works like Rutter’s Gloria and Handel’s Messiah, alongside roles in musical theater and opera.
She currently performs with the Grace Baptist Church choir, Pacific Chorale, and Old Town Carolers, while occasionally contributing to studio recordings.
